Created by prolific choreographer Boris Eifman, Rodin tells the story of the great sculptor Auguste Rodin and his apprentice, lover and muse Camille Claudel. Their passionate relationship is full of drama, with their breakup leading to the mental breakdown of Claudel. The unique body language of the modern psychological ballet is the perfect art form to capture the incomprehensible mystery of the creative process. Eifman has successfully transformed the expressions and body language of Rodin’s sculptures into a sensuous stream of movements.
